Analysis of the main reasons for damage to the dcdc power supply module:

1. The dcdc power module is not configured according to the actual DC load N+1, (the load current and charging current are set to 10% of the rated capacity of the battery pack.);
2. The module is often in full load operation;
For DCDC modules in use, there will be a derating curve as a reference. According to the derating curve, there will be no major problems. As for the service life and failure rate of the module, the manufacturers will provide MTBF and sporadic failure of the original device. It is common for many modules to be designed with a full load efficiency higher than half load due to various reasons such as magnetic devices.
However, if the power module is often used at full load, it will affect the life of the module, and the heat will increase, so it is not recommended to use it at full load.
3. The system current sharing causes a certain module to run at full load;
4. The ambient temperature of the computer room is too high;
Over-temperature protection depends on the external environment and the product's internal adaptation to temperature. If the external environment temperature is higher than the product's adaptation environment, the product will be affected to a certain extent. The general military-grade and aerospace-grade power supplies have a wider range of adaptation.
5. The module filter is not cleaned regularly (the filter is too dirty to cause the module to become stable, and the accumulation temperature cannot be released in time);
6. There is too much dust in the module (due to the intrusion of dust and the hidden danger of failure caused by accumulation), the dust can be removed with an air pump;
This situation is more common in power supplies with filters, but for a fully enclosed power module, there is basically no damage caused by dust intrusion.
7. Harmonic influence.
